Librarian (Remish, Egypt)



As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library collection, assisting patrons with research and information needs, and promoting library services. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage library collection by cataloguing, shelving, and organizing materials
- Help patrons locate and access resources for research or recreational purposes
- Respond to reference questions and assist with information needs
- Promote library services through outreach programs and social media
- Plan and implement educational programs for all age groups
- Maintain accurate records of circulation statistics and patron interactions
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop programming and enhance services
- Ensure a clean and orderly library environment

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Experience working in a library setting highly desirable
- Knowledge of cataloguing systems and reference resources
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work well with diverse populations
and age groups
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies
