Pastry Chef
We are in need of a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Clairvaux. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. Your main goal will be to provide our guests with delicious and visually appealing desserts that will leave a lasting impression.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create dessert menus in accordance with the restaurant's theme and style
- Prepare all types of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts
- Decorate and present desserts in an attractive and creative manner
- Ensure that all food products are of high quality and meet our standards
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise pastry assistants or apprentices
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and methods
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new dessert ideas
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
Salary:
$1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location:
Clairvaux, France (preference for local/national candidates but open to international applicants)
