Entry-Level Instrument Technician - Sharjah

A well-established industrial company in Sharjah is seeking an Entry-Level Instrument Technician to join our team. This position is open to all nationalities, including Africans and Egyptians, and does not require English proficiency or previous experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various instruments used in our production processes. They should have a basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a great opportunity for someone with a technical background who is looking to start their career in the field of instrumentation.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Use hand tools and testing equipment to diagnose issues and make necessary adjustments or replacements
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify problems and find solutions
- Adhere to safety regulations at all times while working with live electrical equipment
- Continuously learn about new technologies in the field of instrumentation

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and mechanical systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Physically fit for manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy instruments and standing for long periods of time
- Familiarity with industry standards for instrumentation (e.g. ISA symbols) is a plus
