Cashier - Contract Position in Muscat

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cashier to join our team on a contract basis in Muscat. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and direct them to the appropriate counter
- Scan items accurately and efficiently at the checkout counter
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using POS system
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balance throughout shift
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Keep checkout area clean and organized for smooth customer flow
- Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves when needed
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cashier in a retail or hospitality setting
- Must have a biometric passport for easy clearance at the airport
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate cash handling
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Must be able to work without accommodation
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is an asset)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this contract position.
