Radio Technician


A reputable radio station in Bayan is seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing radio equipment, ensuring that our broadcasts are uninterrupted and of the highest quality. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in radio technology and a deep understanding of audio equipment and signal processing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on all radio equipment, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, and studio equipment
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during live broadcasts
- Repair or replace faulty equipment as needed
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for upgrades when necessary
- Work closely with other members of the broadcast team to ensure smooth operations
- Keep detailed records of maintenance checks, repairs, and inventory of equipment
- Adhere to all safety regulations while working with electrical equipment
- Occasionally assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for remote broadcasts or special events

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in electronics or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of audio engineering principles and signal processing techniques
- Familiarity with various types of radio equipment, including transmitters, receivers, microphones, mixers, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if needed

Salary: $1800 per month. This is a full-time position with benefits.
