Head Chef
As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our busy kitchen in Wiltz. Your main role will be to create and prepare delicious and visually appealing dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. You will also be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, ensuring proper food safety procedures are followed, and controlling inventory and food costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and execute menus that cater to a diverse clientele
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in various cooking techniques and proper food handling procedures
- Monitor food inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and maintain cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen area at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, menu development, and food cost control
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, management, and suppliers
- Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and holidays
Salary:
