Job Title: Pastry Chef at a High-end Boulangerie in Dickirch, Luxembourg
A luxury boulangerie in the charming city of Dickirch, Luxembourg is seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries and desserts for our customers. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for pastry making will be key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of high-quality pastries and desserts according to our recipes
- Decorate and present pastries in an attractive manner
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Order and maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques, tools, and equipment
- Ability to create unique flavor combinations
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (French or German is a plus)
- Must be able to legally work in Luxembourg
