Head Chef

As the Head Chef of our upscale restaurant located in Ar-Ruwais, Egypt, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef who is passionate about creating exceptional culinary experiences and leading a team of talented chefs. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Create and design menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and vision
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu specifications
- Ensure all kitchen operations comply with health and safety standards
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure its proper functioning
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategies
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new techniques or ingredients to enhance our menu offerings

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations
- Experience creating menus that appeal to a variety of tastes
- Proficiency in English is preferred but not required
- Valid visa for working in Egypt or willingness to obtain one
