Mason - Construction Worker

As a Mason - Construction Worker, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, concrete blocks, and other materials. Your duties will include mixing and applying mortar, laying bricks and blocks according to blueprints and specifications, and smoothing and finishing surfaces using hand or power tools. You may also be required to repair existing structures, such as walls or chimneys.

To excel in this role, you must have prior experience working as a mason in the construction industry. You should also possess strong physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination are essential qualities for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Mix mortar according to specified proportions
- Lay bricks or blocks in predetermined patterns
- Smooth and finish surfaces using hand or power tools
- Align structures using plumb bob or other levels
- Repair existing structures as needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Familiarity with construction materials and tools
- Ability to read blueprints is a plus
