Job Title: Part-Time Executive Chef
We are in search of a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team on a part-time basis. Our restaurant, located in Dickirch, offers a diverse menu of international cuisine and we are looking for someone with a passion for cooking and creating delicious dishes.
As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant and possess strong leadership skills.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, perfect for individuals who have other commitments or are looking for supplemental income. Our restaurant provides accommodation options for employees who require it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create unique and innovative menus that reflect our international cuisine theme
- Oversee all food preparation to ensure quality and consistency
- Manage inventory and control costs
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of international cuisine and cooking techniques
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must have own visa or work permit for employment in Dickirch (candidates from all nationalities welcome)
