Carpenter (Contract)



We are in need of an experienced Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You will work with a variety of tools and machines to measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in carpentry, including proficiency in reading blueprints and using hand and power tools. This position offers a salary of $900 per week, along with accommodation, free visa, and ticket to Wiltz.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet specifications
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings etc.
- Construct building frameworks including walls, floors and doorframes
- Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed
- Build scaffolding and other temporary structures
- Use hand tools such as hammers, levels, saws etc.
- Use power tools such as drills, sanders etc.
- Read technical drawings and plans

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter (minimum 3 years)
- Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and plans
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to accurately measure materials for cutting purposes
- Good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials
- Physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification is a plus
