Head Chef
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations in Salalah. Your primary role will be to lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production and service. You will be responsible for creating menus, ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and maintaining food safety standards. You should have excellent culinary skills and be able to develop creative and innovative dishes that align with our restaurant's concept. Additionally, you should have strong leadership abilities as you will be responsible for training and mentoring staff, maintaining a positive work environment, and resolving any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting. A degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred but not required. Candidates must also possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. As this position requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays, flexibility in scheduling is a must.
