Executive Chef - International Cuisine (Salalah, Oman)


We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and culinary operations. Your main goal will be to ensure that our guests are served with high-quality, creative and delicious dishes inspired by international cuisines.

Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that showcase a variety of international dishes while also incorporating local flavors and ingredients
- Train, mentor and lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing and finance to ensure cost-effective menu planning
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new techniques to continuously improve our menu offerings
- Create special menus for events or caterings as required

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- Proven track record of creating innovative menus with international cuisine
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire your team
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred

Salary: $900 per month (tax-free) + benefits including accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, annual leave allowance.
