Head Chef - International Cuisine
As a Head Chef of our international cuisine restaurant located in Dickirch, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen and culinary team. Your role will require strong leadership skills, creativity, and a passion for creating unique and delicious dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus to showcase a diverse range of international dishes
- Supervise all kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure the highest quality of food is consistently served
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong knowledge of international cuisine and trends
- Ability to create unique, visually appealing dishes while maintaining flavor profiles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficient in managing inventory and controlling food costs
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or certification from a accredited institution
- Experience working in fine dining establishments
- Multilingual proficiency
