We are in search of a passionate and enthusiastic Junior Librarian to join our team at the Clairvaux Public Library. As a Junior Librarian, you will assist the Head Librarian in various tasks related to library operations and services. This is an entry-level position suitable for freshers or individuals looking to start their career in librarianship.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with locating books and other library materials
- Check-in and check-out library items using the library management system
- Process new library memberships and update existing membership records
- Organize and shelve books according to the library's classification system
- Support in planning and implementing library programs and events for all age groups
- Conduct basic research upon request from patrons
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the library space
- Assist with administrative tasks such as book ordering, inventory management, and data entry

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in using library management systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Passion for books and reading with knowledge of current trends in literature
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
