Librarian vacancy in Clairvaux Luxembourg

Part-Time Librarian
We are in need of a part-time librarian for our library in Clairvaux. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in a library and be able to work independently. This position is suitable for both men and women.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain library materials, including books, periodicals, and audiovisual materials
- Assist library patrons with reference questions and locating materials
- Check in and out books using the library's computer system
- Shelve returned materials in their proper locations
- Plan and execute library programs and events, such as story time for children or book clubs for adults
- Keep track of overdue materials and issue fines when necessary
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop collection policies and select new materials to add to the collection

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Knowledge of library organization systems and resources
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds of books or other materials

Salary: $900 per month (based on 20 hours per week)
Location: Clairvaux, France (candidates must already reside in or near the city)
