Senior Sailor - El-Fujairah, UAE



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sailor to join our team in El-Fujairah, UAE. As a first class sailor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse crew and gain valuable experience in the maritime industry. This is a full-time position with visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of ship operations, including navigation, safety, and maintenance
- Supervise and train junior sailors on board
- Maintain logs, reports, and records of ship activities
- Monitor weather conditions and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe sailing
- Perform routine maintenance on ship equipment and systems
- Oversee loading and unloading of cargo according to safety regulations
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or issues on board

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a sailor 1st class
- Must hold necessary certifications for sea travel (STCW)
- Ability to work well in a team and lead others effectively
- Strong knowledge of navigation techniques and maritime laws/regulations
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English
- Physically fit with the ability to work long hours at sea

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1300 per month.

This position is based in El-Fujairah, UAE.
