Light Driver Job in Al-Khor, Qatar

A reputable transportation company in Al-Khor is seeking a skilled and responsible Light Driver to join our team. As a Light Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers or goods to their desired destination. Your main duties will include operating the assigned vehicle, following traffic laws, maintaining the vehicle's cleanliness and conducting regular safety checks. To excel in this role, you must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Additionally, you should be familiar with the local roads and traffic regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate the assigned vehicle to transport passengers or goods
- Obey all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle at all times
- Conduct regular safety checks on the vehicle before and after trips
- Keep an accurate record of all trips made and any incidents that occur
- Follow designated routes or adapt to alternate routes as needed
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading their belongings if necessary
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs to your supervisor immediately

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Valid light driver's license from Qatar
- Proven experience as a Light Driver preferred but not required
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic regulations in Al-Khor preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects if necessary
- Strong communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

We offer competitive pay starting at 1700$ per month for this full-time position. This job does not include accommodation but is open for Indian nationals with their own visa.
