Head Chef


We are in need of a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team in Nairobi. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading and managing our kitchen staff, creating new menus and dishes, and ensuring the overall quality of our food and service. You must have a passion for cooking and a creative flair to continuously innovate our menu offerings.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff
- Create new menus and dishes while maintaining quality standards
- Monitor food costs and maintain inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop budget plans
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creative mindset with excellent leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Knowledge of food cost control and inventory management
- Degree or diploma in culinary arts or related field is preferred

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Nairobi. While we prefer someone with Kenyan nationality, we welcome applicants from all nationalities who meet the requirements.
