Executive Chef - Seasonal Position in Jizan, Egypt
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at our luxury resort in Jizan, Egypt. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and design menus that reflect our resort's vision and cater to guests' preferences
- Source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers to maintain the authenticity of our cuisine
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistent quality and taste
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and productivity
- Maintain inventory levels and control costs to meet budget targets
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of all dining outlets in the resort
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques or concepts into menu planning
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating unique dishes using local ingredients
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed
Salary:
This is a seasonal position with a salary of $1600 per month. Accommodation is not provided but assistance can be provided in finding suitable housing. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.
