Executive Chef

The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our high-end restaurant in Muscat. This individual must have a strong culinary background and excellent leadership skills to manage and inspire a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff. The ideal candidate should be able to create innovative and delicious menus, maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, and ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative menus that meet the preferences of our diverse clientele
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistent quality
- Train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain kitchen stock
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective menus while maintaining high food quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also following traditional recipes
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution
- Previous experience working in Oman or knowledge of Omani cuisine

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Muscat (accommodation may be provided)
