Sous Chef
Position: Sous Chef
Salary: $1200/month
Location: Jizan, Egypt
Our restaurant is currently seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Jizan, Egypt. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cooking, has excellent leadership skills, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing and coordinating the kitchen operations
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standard
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Excellent leadership, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
