Job Title: Office Assistant - Contract Position (Indians Preferred)
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Sharjah. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and organizing paperwork
- Assist in the preparation of various documents, such as reports, presentations, and spreadsheets
- Maintain office supplies and equipment by monitoring inventory levels and placing orders when necessary
- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the team
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Keep track of office expenses and prepare expense reports
- Support other departments with various administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role is required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- Indian nationality preferred due to visa requirements
- Experience working in an office setting
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, etc.
