Smelter Operator
As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining smelting equipment in a busy industrial setting. This role requires experience in smelting and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. You will be working with molten metals, so safety procedures and attention to detail are critical. This is a contract job based in Nairobi, Kenya with no accommodation provided. We welcome both experienced professionals and freshers who possess the necessary skills and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment according to established procedures
- Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
- Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products
- Follow safety protocols at all times to minimize risk of accidents or injuries
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs when necessary

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Smelter or similar role highly preferred
- Familiarity with smelting processes, materials, and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced industrial setting
- Attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads, stand for long periods, and work in hot conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Nairobi, Kenya (this is not a remote position)
Contract Type: Short-term contract with potential for extension
