We are a leading manufacturing company in Nairobi and we are seeking a skilled Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools to produce precision metal parts. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate operations
- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machine tools
- Select proper cutting tools and speeds for each operation
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications
- Make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and accuracy of parts
- Maintain equipment in good working condition by performing regular maintenance and repairs
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Turner or in a similar role
- Experience with various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using precision measuring instruments
- Good understanding of different metals and their properties
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
