Contract Gardener in Nairobi, Kenya



We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Contract Gardener to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Contract Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the gardens of our clients on a contractual basis. Responsibilities:
- Perform general garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, pruning, and watering
- Plant new flowers, shrubs, and trees according to the client’s preferences
- Maintain garden equipment and tools in good working condition
- Identify and control weeds, pests, and diseases using safe and environmentally friendly methods
- Assist with landscape design and installation projects as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations
- Keep accurate records of work done and materials used

Requirements:
- No previous experience is required but a passion for gardening is a must
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of different plants, their care requirements, and common pests/diseases
- Good communication skills
- Proactive attitude towards learning new skills
