Instrument Technician

A well-established company in Wiltz is seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of instruments used in various industries. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with troubleshooting, calibration, and installation of instruments. You must also have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits. Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various instruments
- Calibrate and install new instruments according to manufacturer's specifications
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to supervisor
- Identify potential problems and provide solutions to ensure uninterrupted operation of instruments
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve instrument performance
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Experience working with various instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, thermometers, etc.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used in instrument repair
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow instructions accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- Certification in Instrumentation Technology is a plus
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and work on ladders or in confined spaces
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
- Must be legally authorized to work in Wiltz
