Part-Time Florist in Nairobi

We are in need of a skilled and creative Part-Time Florist to join our team in Nairobi. As a florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and displays for various events such as weddings, parties, and corporate functions. You will also be responsible for maintaining the flowers and plants in our shop, ensuring they are fresh and well-cared for. The ideal candidate should have experience in floral design, a passion for flowers, and excellent customer service skills. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Create stunning floral arrangements according to client requests
- Maintain the flower shop by watering plants, arranging displays, and keeping the shop clean
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their flower choices
- Keep track of inventory and order new supplies when needed
- Stay updated on current trends in floral design and implement them in your work
- Work efficiently within a given budget to create cost-effective arrangements

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a florist or in floral design
- Creative flair and eye for detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of different types of flowers and how to care for them
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work on weekends or holidays when needed

Preferred qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in floral design or related field
- Experience working with biometric passport events or creating arrangements for students' events is an added advantage
