Skilled Mason - Ar-Ruwais, United Arab Emirates


We are in search of a skilled Mason to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, UAE. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures using various materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, and natural or man-made stones.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces prior to starting work by laying out work area and removing any debris or obstacles.
- Measure and cut materials to specific sizes using hand or power tools.
- Lay bricks or other building materials in horizontal rows, ensuring that they are even and level.
- Apply mortar between bricks or stones, filling gaps and joints to create a strong bond.
- Use plumb line, spirit level, and other tools to ensure walls are straight and properly aligned.
- Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones as needed.
- Mix mortar according to specifications and apply it using trowels or other tools.
- Clean excess mortar from surfaces using hand tools or power washers.
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, cranes, or hoists to move materials.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Mason in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of different types of building materials and their properties.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans.
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
