Senior Accountant


Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Bayan, Kuwait
Salary: $1300 per month

We are currently hiring for a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Bayan, Kuwait. This position is suitable for male candidates who speak fluent English and hold a valid biometric passport. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
- Monitor cash flow and make recommendations for budget adjustments as needed.
- Conduct regular audits of financial processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost-cutting measures.
- Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and expense reports.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations in Kuwait.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (QuickBooks).
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
