Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Clairvaux. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, creating new menus, and ensuring the highest quality of food is consistently delivered to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the kitchen including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Develop new menu items and specials
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain inventory levels and order necessary supplies
- Monitor food quality and make necessary adjustments
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure proper coverage
- Collaborate with restaurant management to identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
City: Clairvaux (open to candidates of any nationality)
