Sous Chef
As a Sous Chef at our renowned restaurant in São Paulo, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations. You will work alongside a talented team to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and that the kitchen runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Head Chef to create and maintain an innovative and diverse menu
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation according to restaurant standards
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and plating presentations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
- Outstanding time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Fluent in Portuguese with good English communication skills preferred
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
