Instrument Technician - Nizwa, Oman



A reputable oil and gas company in Nizwa, Oman is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instrumentation equipment such as control systems, transmitters, sensors, and analyzers
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including calibration, testing, and inspections
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient operations
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of various types of instrumentation equipment and their functions
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
