Land Surveyor
We are seeking a qualified Land Surveyor to join our team in Nairobi. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys of land and properties, collecting and analyzing data, and creating maps and reports. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using various tools and equipment such as GPS, total stations, and laser levels
- Collect data on land features, boundaries, and topography
- Analyze survey data to create accurate maps, reports, and legal descriptions of properties
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals on construction projects
- Ensure surveying activities comply with local laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of surveys and update databases as needed
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on survey progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficiency in using surveying tools and software such as AutoCAD and ArcGIS
- Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
