Contract Librarian in Al-Kuwait

Our library in Al-Kuwait is seeking a contract librarian to join our team. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our collection of books, journals, and other materials. This position is open to all nationalities, and no English is required. We are looking for someone who is passionate about books and has a strong attention to detail. This is a contract role with a salary of 1300$. Accommodation and visa sponsorship will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing and cataloging library materials
- Assisting patrons with finding resources
- Managing the library's budget and purchasing new materials
- Planning and promoting library events and programs
- Maintaining the library's online catalog system
- Providing excellent customer service to all patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic preferred but not required
