Part-time Puncher in Nairobi


We are in need of a skilled Puncher to join our team on a part-time basis in Nairobi. As a Puncher, you will be responsible for creating holes or depressions in materials such as metal, paper, or fabric using specialized tools. Your main duties will include setting up and operating the punching machine, selecting the appropriate punch size and shape, and ensuring the accuracy of the punched holes.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working as a Puncher and possess strong attention to detail. You must also be physically fit as this job requires standing for long periods of time and using repetitive hand motions. Additionally, you must have excellent hand-eye coordination and be able to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate punching machine according to specifications
- Select appropriate punch size and shape for each job
- Load materials onto machine and guide them through the punching process
- Inspect punched holes for accuracy and adjust machine settings if necessary
- Troubleshoot any issues with the machine
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Puncher preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and use repetitive hand motions
- Basic understanding of machine mechanics preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1500 per month.
