Formwork Specialist
As a Formwork Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and dismantling temporary structures used to support concrete during construction projects. Your role will involve interpreting blueprints and diagrams, measuring and cutting materials, and ensuring the accuracy and stability of the formwork. You will also be required to use hand tools and power tools to shape and fasten materials, as well as operate heavy machinery such as cranes or forklifts.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of construction principles and techniques, as well as experience working with various formwork systems. You must also possess excellent mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Attention to detail is crucial in this position, as any errors in formwork can lead to costly delays or structural issues.
Your work will primarily take place on construction sites in Acre, but may require travel to other cities within the country. As this is a contract job with accommodation provided, you must be open to living on-site during the duration of the project.
In addition to technical skills, you should also have excellent physical stamina and dexterity for performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials or working at heights. Safety is of utmost importance in this role, so you must adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols.
A biometric passport is required for this position due to the nature of the work on construction sites. This will allow for efficient access control measures and ensure your safety while on site.
