Executive Chef (Experienced)


We are in search of an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in the beautiful city of Acre. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant and ensuring the highest quality of food and service. Your main duties will include creating and implementing menus, managing inventory and food costs, training and supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and appeal to our customers' tastes
- Manage inventory levels to ensure freshness of ingredients while keeping costs within budget
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including assigning tasks, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health codes and sanitation standards
- Oversee purchasing of supplies and equipment for the kitchen
- Monitor food production to maintain consistently high quality dishes
- Collaborate with management team to develop promotions or special events related to food offerings

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Proven track record in menu creation, cost control, inventory management, and staff training/supervision
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience required
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate team members
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of current industry trends
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this full-time position. Please note that accommodation is not provided for this role. Preference will be given to candidates who already have their own valid visa for working in Acre. However, we are also open to considering candidates who require visa sponsorship.
