Executive Chef at a Fine Dining Restaurant in Acre, Israel
We are seeking a skilled and creative Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at our upscale fine dining restaurant in the historical city of Acre, Israel. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and design innovative and high-quality menus that align with our restaurant's concept and vision
- Oversee food purchasing and inventory management to ensure high quality ingredients are used while controlling costs
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and enforcing safety and sanitation standards
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment according to health department regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and develop a team of kitchen staff
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new flavors and dishes
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Hebrew is a plus)
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1600$ per month along with bonuses based on performance.
