DevOps Developer



The role of a DevOps Developer is to bridge the gap between software development and operations. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for automating the software development process, ensuring continuous integration and delivery, and maintaining a reliable and efficient infrastructure. You will work closely with developers, system administrators, and other IT professionals to develop and maintain tools for managing code releases and deployments.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement and maintain automation tools for building, testing, and deploying software
- Set up and manage Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure or deployment processes
- Collaborate with developers to ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews
- Work with system administrators to manage servers, networks, databases, storage systems, etc.
- Develop scripts for automating routine tasks such as backups or server patching
- Ensure security measures are in place for all systems and applications
- Stay current with emerging technologies in the DevOps field

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role as a DevOps Engineer or Developer
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Ruby or Java
- Experience with Configuration Management tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new technologies

Location: Beer-Sheva

Salary: $1000 per month
