Part-Time Biometric Passport Preservation Architect in Beer-Sheva
Our architecture firm is seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Beer-Sheva. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for preserving and maintaining biometric passports for our clients. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for preserving historical documents and a background in architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on biometric passport preservation techniques and materials
- Inspect, assess, and document the condition of biometric passports
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for each passport, taking into consideration its unique features and condition
- Implement preservation treatments and repairs as needed, following established conservation standards
- Create detailed reports on the condition of each passport before and after preservation
- Monitor environmental conditions to ensure proper storage of biometric passports
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and conservators as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Proven experience in conservation or preservation of historical documents, preferably biometric passports
- Knowledge of conservation standards and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with delicate materials
- Excellent research skills
- Ability to work independently
- Must be fluent in English (Hebrew proficiency is an advantage)
This is a part-time position with a competitive salary of $1700 per month. We are looking for a male candidate who can demonstrate a strong understanding of the preservation process while also being physically capable of handling delicate documents.
