Biometric Passport Instrument Technician


We are a leading government agency in Beer-Sheva seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. As a Biometric Passport Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating the specialized equipment used in the production of biometric passports.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic equipment used in biometric passport production
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure accurate and reliable functioning
- Calibrate instruments according to established procedures and specifications
- Monitor instrument performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy
- Document all maintenance, repairs, and calibrations performed on instruments
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed
- Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot issues and improve processes

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Experience working with biometric passport production equipment highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of electronic systems, circuits, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read circuit diagrams and technical manuals
- Proficient in using various testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Familiarity with calibration processes and standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Beer-Sheva (Israeli citizens preferred)
