Entry-Level Typesetter in Jerusalem

As an Entry-Level Typesetter in Jerusalem, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently setting type for various documents such as books, magazines, and brochures. You will work closely with editors and designers to ensure high-quality and visually appealing final products. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for typography and design, looking to gain experience in the publishing industry.

Responsibilities:
- Use specialized software to typeset text according to design specifications
- Ensure proper formatting, font usage, spacing, and alignment of text
- Collaborate with editors and designers to make necessary revisions
- Ensure accuracy of all text including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and layout
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new software advancements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of typography principles and design software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow style guides
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Fluent in English (Hebrew proficiency is a plus)
- Prior experience in typesetting is not required but considered a plus

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
