Tiler (Entry-Level)


As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing tiles on various surfaces such as walls, floors, and ceilings. You will work with a variety of materials including ceramic, stone, and porcelain tiles to create aesthetically pleasing and functional designs. This is an entry-level position, making it an ideal opportunity for freshers looking to start their career in tiling.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into corners
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing them
- Mix and apply adhesives, grout, sealants, or other materials
- Install tiles in a pattern or design according to specifications
- Align tiles properly and ensure they are level and evenly spaced
- Fill in gaps between tiles with grout and remove excess
- Repair or replace damaged or cracked tiles
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used for tiling

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in tiling is an asset but not required
- Basic knowledge of using hand tools such as saws and tile cutters
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail to ensure precise measurements
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
