Contract Turner in Jerusalem



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Turner to join our team in Jerusalem. Our company specializes in the manufacturing industry and we are looking for a motivated individual who can work on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Turner and must have previous experience working with lathes, grinders, and other precision machining tools. This is a contract position with potential for long-term employment. Accommodation will not be provided, therefore preference will be given to candidates who are already located in Jerusalem or have their own accommodation arrangements. Visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various precision machining tools such as lathes, grinders, and drills
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet specifications
- Maintain equipment by performing regular maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Turner in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in operating lathes, grinders, and other precision machining tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for precision machining equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to make adjustments as needed
- Must be able to work independently on contract basis
