Pastry Chef at a High-end Restaurant in Jerusalem
Are you a skilled pastry chef looking for a new opportunity in the culinary world? Our high-end restaurant in Jerusalem is seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team.
As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to develop new menu items, as well as maintain the quality and consistency of our current offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create new dessert menu items
- Ensure all desserts are prepared in accordance with established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs on techniques and recipes
- Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and place orders when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area at all times
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of various pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, plating, etc.
- Creativity and ability to develop unique dessert offerings
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- A degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred
Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Jerusalem (Relocation assistance available for non-local candidates)
