Our company, located in the beautiful city of Acre, is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications. This is a full-time position and we welcome candidates of all genders and nationalities.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the materials required
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood or wood substitutes
- Build stairs, install cabinets and shelving units, construct walls and partitions
- Repair or replace damaged or rotting structures
- Install windows, doors, flooring, molding and trim work
- Sand surfaces and apply varnish or other finishes as necessary
- Work with hand tools such as saws, chisels, planes and power tools such as sanders and drills
- Operate woodworking machinery including saws and routers
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Carpenter
- Knowledge of different woodworking techniques including framing, finishing and cabinetry
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with various wood types and their properties
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods of time and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail with exceptional hand-eye coordination
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members on projects

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have completed a Carpentry apprenticeship program or have equivalent on-the-job training. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Salary:
The salary for this position starts at $1200 per month but can increase based on experience.
