Junior Android Developer



We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Beer-Sheva. As a Junior Android Developer, you will work on the development and maintenance of our Android applications. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$. We welcome candidates without prior experience, as long as they possess strong knowledge and skills in Android development.

Responsibilities:
- Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement designs into functional user interfaces
- Write clean and efficient code following coding standards
- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or internal teams
- Stay updated on new trends and technologies in the Android development field

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of other mobile platforms such as iOS or Windows Mobile
- Familiarity with Firebase or other cloud-based databases
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
