Junior Developer - Contract Position (Ashdod, Israel)



We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Developer to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As a Junior Developer, you will work closely with our experienced developers to design, develop and maintain software applications. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term growth within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development of new software applications
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement solutions
- Write clean, efficient and maintainable code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

- Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong understanding of programming principles and concepts
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python or JavaScript
- Familiarity with database design and SQL
- Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience in software development or internships/projects related to programming
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or SVN

Salary:

This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Location:

The position is based in Ashdod, Israel.

Visa Sponsorship:

This is an own visa job opportunity. Preference will be given to candidates who already have legal authorization to work in Israel.
