Entry Level Typesetter in Ashdod, Israel


We are a well-established publishing company seeking an entry level Typesetter to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital materials such as books, magazines, and websites. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about typography and design and looking to start their career in the publishing industry.

Responsibilities:
- Use desktop publishing software to format and arrange text according to layout specifications
- Edit and proofread text for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality final products
- Prepare files for printing or digital distribution
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and software updates related to typesetting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- Proficiency in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or similar programs
- Strong understanding of typography principles and design concepts
- Attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Hebrew proficiency is a plus)
